OptiMVD: Viscometer and Density Meter
Viscometer and Density Meter
OptiMVD is a mini viscometer and density meter designed for today’s modern laboratory. Available in three different configurations, all models load the sample, perform viscosity and density measurement, and clean the system automatically. The dual carousel model allows programming up to 48 samples at a time. All models can measure samples with a viscosity range from 1 mm2/sec to 2,000 mm2/sec at 40°C.
Safe and cost-effective to own and operate, the constant pressure viscometer has a precision that meets or exceeds ASTM D445 or its equivalents.

MFA: Marine Fuel Viscosity, Density & Cold Properties
Marine Fuel Analyzer
Phase Technology’s new MFA-70Xi analyzer measures cloud point, pour point, viscosity and density of light marine distillate fuels like DMX, DMA, DMZ, and DMB. Marine Gas Oil (MGO) will need to have less than 0.5% of sulfur, a significant decrease from the existing 3.5 %, according to the MARPOL 2020 convention. The MFA-70Xi is completely self-cleaning, and completes all the tests in less than 25 minutes.

Phase Technology’s new JFA-70Xi jet fuel analyzer is the world’s first and only instrument that performs three crucial tests in one unit—freeze point, viscosity and density. The JFA-70Xi features a new, side loaded automatic sample injection port. There’s no longer a need to manually pipette.
The JFA is completely self-cleaning, without the need of solvents. Save time and hassle of cleaning, and avoid any risk of damage to the sample cup. ASTM has updated D1655 jet fuel specification to include Phase Technology’s ASTM D7945, as used in the JFA-70Xi jet fuel analyzer.
